Would you like to help build the Rock-N-Roll trail at Carvins Cove this weekend?
We will be working this Sunday December 4th . You could help in the morning or afternoon. First shift starting at 9am. Other shifts starting times can vary. Would like to have a few that can start in afternoon and stay until around 5pm. Email me and let us know when you would like to help and we can work out the logistics to get to work site. I just want to clarify that you do not need any experience.
We will usually provide you some choices on several things that you could work on and then we provide guidance and tips. There is no rush and you work at your own pace. We want everyone to enjoy creating great trails and hope you come back often.
We meet at Bennett Springs trail head parking lot. Check calendar at www.greenways.org before heading out to make sure we have not had to cancel. The calendar has a link for map to the parking area. Note, we don’t sit in the lot wondering if someone is going to show up who has not said they were coming. I do check for emails in the morning before I head out. You are always welcome to catch us in the lot before we drive off or come out to the work site on your own any time during the work day to pitch in.
Every volunteer that comes out for a shift gets a $5 trail token courtesy of RIMBA.
They are good as cash at many of your favorite local outdoor stores. RIMBA also supplies the snacks. All tools and equipment are from Pathfinders For Greenways.
Thanks, Brian Batteiger,
Crew Leader, Pathfinders For Greenways
